Draining of the appropriate volume of water prior to closing

Clearing of residual water from all PVC pipes, the pump, filtration system, and heater

Replacement of all plugs into the pump, filtration system, and heater

Removal, storage, and inspection of all ladders, handrails, and any diving boards

Treatment with appropriate winterizing chemicals (included in service)

Raising of pool cover anchors

Cleaning and backwashing the filter (additional charge for DE and cartridge filters)

Removal of any leaves and debris prior to closing

Securing the safety cover/tarp over the surface of the pool (if water bags are required, additional fee will apply)

Removal of standing water from solid cover

Drain excess water from the pool to assist and maintain proper water level

Inspect all pool equipment, valves, latches, and external pipes

Thorough inspection of safety cover for any damages including rips/tears and adjust cover/cover straps if neccessary
